Lorenzo Cittadini
Stade Francais and Italy
Cittadini joined Wasps for the 2014/15 season after having several clubs in the Premiership and Top 14 chasing the international tight-head’s signature. The tighthead, who has won over 40 caps for his country, joined Wasps from his home clubs Benetton Treviso.
On signing Lorenzo, Wasps director of rugby, Dai Young, said: “Lorenzo will be an excellent addition to our squad next year. I rate him as a very good prop at the highest level and his experience at international level will be a real boost for us.
“We’ve got some very good young props here who will learn a lot from working with him. We want to build a squad which has strength in depth in every position and bringing in players like this will help us continue to build on that aim.” Lorenzo showed his class in the final game of the 2014 6 Nations with a huge performance against England in the scrum and now forms a big part of Wasps plans to become a top 4 side once again.
Lorenzo joined Bayonne in 2016 before joining Stade Francais in 2017.
